How To #BUWYC To Climate Action Week

We know it can be stressful to change commuting habits when you are heading to work or school, so this Climate Action Week, we are challenging you to break up with your car for some fun social events!  This is the perfect opportunity to try taking the bus, walking, biking, or carpooling (3 or more people) in a low stress way. Follow these simple rules!

  1. Walk, bus, bike, or carpool (3 or more people) and snap a picture. 
  2. At the event, scan the QR code and upload your sustainable transportation pic to be entered to win a door prize. 
  3. Each event you take sustainable transportation to is another opportunity to win one or of door prizes (see below).

If you will be traveling up or down valley, be sure to check out bus times and routes with the link below. The challenge runs from Memorial Day through Indigenous People's Day and any mileage counts that is replacing a trip in a car, not just going to and from work. Members can track their mileage and win prizes! Sole Power is a great way to get to work, have fun, save money, and get fit over the summer season. All of that fun stuff aside, it helps to reduce carbon emissions!
