The Watershed Council strives to protect and enhance the high-quality natural, scenic and economic values that our rivers and tributaries provide to the citizens, visitors and wildlife of the Eagle River and Colorado River watersheds located in Eagle County.

Mountain Recreation serves everyone by offering access to welcoming, clean, safe indoor community centers and outdoor play spaces that promote healthy living and that bring people together. Community members are invited to test their limits, try out new activities, and make new connections, whether engaging in activities just for a while or exploring opportunities they can enjoy for a lifetime.

Mountain Valley Horse Rescue (MVHR)’s Mission is to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome abused, neglected, abandoned, and unwanted equines. MVHR also works to reduce cases of equine abuse and neglect through community education and outreach.

CPW is charged with balancing the conservation of our wildlife and habitat with the recreational needs of our state. The Future Generations Act passed in 2018 provides specific goals designed to help us achieve that balance. Our agency mission is critical and relevant to all Coloradans, and we need the support of all Coloradans in fulfilling this critical work.
